̉he National Statistical Institute and the Regional Statistical Office of Pernik would like to introduce to the attention of the users of statistical information the electronic publication Statistical Review of Pernik District 2009 (in Bulgarian only) on a CD.
The issue contains statistical data on the demographic, economic and social development of Pernik District for the 2004 - 2007. Published are also some indicators for 2008.
The publication is a continuation of the periodical editions issued by the Regional Statistical Office of Pernik, such as Statistical Review of Pernik District ’96 , Statistical Review of Pernik District - 2004, Statistical Review of Pernik District - 2005 and others.
The structure of publication and contents are in accordance with general data presenting principles at regional level. The publication contains 24 chapters.
The published information is mainly from surveys, included in National Program for Statistical Surveys of the National Statistical Institute as well as other Ministries and institutions which are bodies of statistics.
The publication Statistical Review of Pernik District 2009 is addressed to a wide range of users, institutions and agencies involved in development and implementation of the economic and social policy of Bulgaria, non-governmental organizations, college and university students, as well as the general public.
